OOTD: 2/16/13 {weekend wear}

Sweater: Brooks Brothers Merino Cardi, sz. XS
Tee: J Crew Perfect Fit stripe tee, sz. small
Pants: J Crew Luxe Utility Pants, sz.2
Shoes: Sebago boat shoes
Bag: LV Evora

I don't know about these pants.......I got them from J Crew last fall on super sale, and tucked them away to save for spring. They're lightweight and comfy, but they are just so pink! Plus they don't really fit with the current silhouette of most pant now days. Everything is skinny this, and slim that. The cut on these pants seems like it would be more appropriate circa 2004. What's up with that J Crew? Could that be why they were on mega-clearance?

  1. tuck and roll the bottoms like they do with the boyfriend style cropped chinos. i think it would make a world of difference, the color is in but the leg is out :(

    1. I agree-- the leg is very dated. Comfy, but dated. Which is why I'm surprised J Crew put them out last year in the first place. Oh well. I guess they make good weekend pants.

  2. hmm..do you have a good tailor that could maybe make them more to your liking? :) i do like the stripes and blazer paired with the pink though!

    1. Oh, I bet I could get them tailored, but I wonder at what cost? I think I only paid $20 for them so I wonder if it is worth it? Maybe I should pull out the old sewing machine and make the attempt on my own. At least if I screw up I'm not losing a lot!
