I know I'm behind here, but this is one of my Valentine outfits. Yes, I am one of those teachers who dress in theme for holidays. And better yet, since my classes meet only twice a week --Mon/Wed or Tues/Thurs-- I got two opportunities to dress in a sickly sweet Valentine theme.
This one though, isn't so bad. Pink and purple is quite girlie, but wait until you see tomorrow's outfit.
The pink Bella was just begging to be worn for Valentine's Day. Such a lovely color, in what I would call a 'romantic' cut for a jacket. I'm also wearing one of my new LEC poplin button downs. I think I got this when they were having a $12 sale on all button-downs. $12!?! Heck yeah! I love LEC shirts. They always take extra care to pay attention to the little details that make shirts special, and the fabric is always so nice. I never feel the need to wear a cami underneath for fear of sheerness, unlike some other retailers I know (cough *J Crew* cough).
And for fun, I added one of the girliest pair of heels I own. These peep-toes from Bandolino are one of my faves, and in fact I have them in 3 different colors. The heel is a super comfy 2" wedge heel, and who can resist a fun bow on a peep-toe shoe? I would have taken these in every color of the rainbow if they would have made them.
